If you were to take a peek in my closet you'd probably only notice the big mass of tshirts in front of you. Yup, I'm a fiend for tshirts... but not just any tshirt you can get at your local mall. I like unique shirts, those that you can't find just anywhere. Thats where Uni Qlo comes in.
Its an awesome store that you can find in SoHo in NYC. The shirts you can find there are hella cheap (less than $15.50) and pretty unique. They change the t-shirts line up every month, and its exclusive per month so you won't be able to find those shirts once they change the line up, unless you get really lucky. Almost all my shirts comes from that store so I definitely recommend going there if you're in town.
While in the Big Apple, my family and I were lucky enough to get last minute tickets to see the Blue Man Group. They're already pretty famous, so there was mad hype even before they got on stage. Their show was off-broadway in the Astor Place Theatre. The place is pretty small and only seated I think 150 people max, so the show was pretty intimate. The Blue Man Group was so dope.Without speaking a single word, they were mad funny. Their music and beats were crazy good! I got a lot of bboy inspiration just by listening to them. I can't wait to hit up practice soon because of them.
Lesson of the Day: Hit up Uni-Qlo and the Blue Man Group if you're in the city.
This is going to be my first blog ever. I tried tumblr (in fact i tried it just a few minutes ago), but that was way too confusing for me. It had too many options, and I don't like to have too many options because then I try to become too much of a perfectionist and I go nuts. Plus, my girlfriend persuaded me to use blogspot instead so here I am. I'll do my best to stick with this one, but forgive me if I don't keep up with it.
Anyway, I've spent most of my summer at school putting ridiculous hours into research but finally I'm home. Its been only like four days but I'm already hooked on pinoy teleseryes (aka filipino soap operas). I'm a sucker for cheesy romantic stuff. Guys have feelings too you know. I've been following three of them: All My Life, Adik Sa Yo, and May Bukas Pa. All three of which are hella dope.
Watching pinoy soaps all day is relaxing but I do miss bboying and practicing with my crew, International Flow Syndicate. Hopefully I get some sessioning in tonight when I go to the gym.
